Product details
The black right AERO6 is offered here with the 1.75/1.38/1.38-inch stainless piston arrangement. Six pistons load the 6617 pads within a forged body using internal fluid transfer and radial mounting. Wilwood Engineering is a Camarillo, California-based designer and manufacturer of disc brake systems, founded by Bill Wood in 1977. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form its range for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-13293-BK. Component: Aero6 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Black powder coat finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
- 6 stainless steel pistons with 1.75/1.38/1.38-inch bore groups. The specified effective area is 5.40 sq in.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Caliper weight: approximately 6.8 lb.
- Brake pad profile 6617; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
- 7.09-inch radial mounting pattern, right hand; mounting height 2.09 inches and hole size 0.45 inch.
- The rotor channel is specified for 1.25-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 12.19 to 15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.10–1.28 inch.
Fitment & Compatibility
Verify the piston specification against the existing front-to-rear brake balance. The nominal rotor width is 1.25 inches, and a 1.10–1.28-inch actual width must fit with the bracket’s 2.09-inch caliper mount height.
