Product details
This left-hand AERO6 combines a 6620 pad cavity with a 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch six-piston layout. Its stainless pistons and Type III anodized forged body are matched to a nominally 1.25-inch-wide rotor. This component comes from Wilwood Engineering, established in 1977 by Bill Wood and based in Camarillo, California. Its disc brake design and manufacturing work includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized systems.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-13292. Component: Aero6 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Pad fit is type 6620. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
- Caliper weight: approximately 7.0 lb.
- Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Type III anodize.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Nominal rotor width 1.25 inch; compatible outside diameter from 12.19 through 15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.10–1.28 inch.
- Bracket interface: 7.09-inch radial centers with 0.45-inch holes. Specified mount height: 2.09 inches; orientation: left hand.
- Bore configuration 1.62/1.12/1.12 inches across 6 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 4.04 square inches.
Fitment & Compatibility
Specify the 6620 pad configuration rather than assuming all AERO6 calipers share the same friction cavity. Check the left-side bracket’s radial height and centerline against the selected rotor and 7.09-inch mounting pattern.
