Product details
This red AERO6 is specified for the right side and uses six differential-bore stainless pistons. The 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch layout defines its hydraulic requirements, while the forged body is arranged for 7.09-inch radial mounting. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc braking systems. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range covers calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected as parts of a complete system.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-13289-RD. Component: Aero6 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Brake pad profile 6617; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
- 6 stainless steel pistons with 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch bore groups. The specified effective area is 4.04 sq in.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- The rotor channel is specified for 1.25-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 12.19 to 15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.10–1.28 inch.
- 7.09-inch radial mounting pattern, right hand; mounting height 2.09 inches and hole size 0.45 inch.
- Caliper weight: approximately 6.9 lb.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Red powder coat finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
Fitment & Compatibility
A matching rotor must fit the selected 1.25-inch nominal width version. Confirm the correct 6617 pad shape and caliper-to-wheel clearance after establishing rotor centering on the right-side bracket.
