Product details

The left AERO4 shown in this configuration has Type III anodizing and a 6620 pad cavity. Four stainless pistons use 1.88/1.62-inch differential bores, with internal passages connecting the forged body halves. Wilwood Engineering is a Camarillo, California-based designer and manufacturer of disc brake systems, founded by Bill Wood in 1977. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form its range for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-13288. Component: Aero4 Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Type III anodize finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 6.9 lb.
  • 4 stainless steel pistons with 1.88/1.62-inch bore groups. The specified effective area is 4.84 sq in.
  • The rotor channel is specified for 1.25-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 12.19 to 15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.10–1.28 inch.
  • Brake pad profile 6620; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
  • 7.09-inch radial mounting pattern, left hand; mounting height 2.09 inches and hole size 0.45 inch.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the pad outline and available thickness before choosing the friction set. The bracket must center a nominally 1.25-inch-wide rotor and position the left caliper correctly on its 7.09-inch radial mounting pattern.
