Product details
Wilwood’s black left AERO4 combines a forged housing with four differential-bore stainless pistons. The 1.62/1.38-inch piston combination and type 6617 friction shape distinguish it from other AERO4 body and pad configurations. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-13282-BK. Component: Aero4 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Pistons: 4 stainless steel; bore specification: 1.62/1.38 inches. Effective piston area: 3.56 sq in.
- Body: forged aluminum; finish: Black powder coat.
- Caliper weight: approximately 6.9 lb.
- Compatible brake pad shape: 6617; choose the required compound for the brake system.
- Mounting: radial, 7.09-inch centers; left hand orientation. Mount holes: 0.45 inch; height: 2.09 inches.
- Rotor compatibility: nominal width 1.25 inch; diameter 12.19–15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.10–1.28 inch.
Fitment & Compatibility
Use 7.09-inch radial centers to compare the attachment, then verify rotor alignment at the 2.09-inch mount height. Match a nominally 1.25-inch-wide rotor and check the complete caliper profile against the wheel.
With 20+ years of experience, PMB Performance can help compare the actual brake hardware. Supply the caliper number, rotor dimensions and mounting measurements when asking about compatibility.
