Product details

For a 0.81-inch rotor-width package, this right-hand Wilwood Superlite 6R offers six differential-bore stainless pistons. The forged radial-mount body retains the 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch bore combination rather than using six identical pistons. Camarillo, California is home to Wilwood Engineering, the disc brake company Bill Wood founded in 1977. Its design and manufacturing range spans calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized brake systems.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-13237. Component: Forged Superlite 6 Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Type III anodize.
  • Bracket interface: 5.98-inch radial centers with 0.39-inch holes. Specified mount height: 1.63 inches; orientation: right hand.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Bore configuration 1.62/1.12/1.12 inches across 6 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 4.04 square inches.
  • Nominal rotor width 0.81 inch; compatible outside diameter from 11.75 through 14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.90 inch.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 5.3 lb.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Pad fit is type 7420. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.

Fitment & Compatibility

This width version must be checked independently of other Superlite 6R calipers. Match the rotor’s 0.75–0.90-inch permitted thickness and the bracket’s 5.98-inch radial stud centers, with enough wheel and rotor-hat clearance.

Ask PMB Performance to check the complete brake arrangement before ordering. Our team brings over 20 years of experience; photographs and measured bracket and rotor dimensions make that check more useful.
