Product details

Wilwood’s left Superlite 6R uses internal passages to feed its six stainless pistons. The 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch bores are paired with a nominally 1.25-inch-wide rotor cavity and a Type III anodized forging. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, is based in Camarillo, California. The company makes and designs disc brake components and systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-13236. Component: Forged Superlite 6 Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • 5.98-inch radial mounting pattern, left hand; mounting height 1.63 inches and hole size 0.39 inch.
  • Brake pad profile 7420; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
  • Type III anodize finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 5.4 lb.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • 6 stainless steel pistons with 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch bore groups. The specified effective area is 4.04 sq in.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • The rotor channel is specified for 1.25-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.75 to 14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.15–1.35 inch.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the caliper drawing to establish radial height and rotor centering on the left-side bracket. Confirm 1.15–1.35-inch rotor width and an 11.75–14.00-inch diameter, then select the correct type 7420 friction material.

Ask PMB Performance to check the complete brake arrangement before ordering. Our team brings over 20 years of experience; photographs and measured bracket and rotor dimensions make that check more useful.
