Product details
The right-hand Forged Superlite 6R places six stainless pistons in a 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch differential arrangement. Its forged, hard-anodized body uses radial mounting and the 7420 pad shape for brake systems built around a 1.25-inch nominal rotor width. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-13235. Component: Forged Superlite 6 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Body: forged aluminum; finish: Type III anodize.
- Pistons: 6 stainless steel; bore specification: 1.62/1.12/1.12 inches. Effective piston area: 4.04 sq in.
- Mounting: radial, 5.98-inch centers; right hand orientation. Mount holes: 0.39 inch; height: 1.63 inches.
- Caliper weight: approximately 5.4 lb.
- Rotor compatibility: nominal width 1.25 inch; diameter 11.75–14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.15–1.35 inch.
- Compatible brake pad shape: 7420; choose the required compound for the brake system.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
Fitment & Compatibility
Compare all three bore sizes with the hydraulic specification, not just the six-piston count. Verify the 5.98-inch radial pattern, 1.63-inch mounting height and room for the caliper inside the wheel.
With 20+ years of experience, PMB Performance can help compare the actual brake hardware. Supply the caliper number, rotor dimensions and mounting measurements when asking about compatibility.
