Product details

This black FDP-LP is a low-profile four-piston Dynapro for a nominal 0.81-inch rotor width. Four 1.12-inch stainless bores and 4812 pads distinguish its compact friction and hydraulic arrangement. This component comes from Wilwood Engineering, established in 1977 by Bill Wood and based in Camarillo, California. Its disc brake design and manufacturing work includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized systems.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-12160-BK. Component: Forged Dynapro Lug Mount Low-Profile caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 3.6 lb.
  • Pad fit is type 4812. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
  • Bracket interface: 5.25-inch lug centers with 0.39-inch holes. Specified mount height: 2.10 inches; orientation: universal.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Bore configuration 1.12 inches across 4 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 1.98 square inches.
  • Nominal rotor width 0.81 inch; compatible outside diameter from 11.00 through 13.06 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.83 inch.
  • Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Black powder coat.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.

Fitment & Compatibility

Measure the outboard hat space and pad sweep carefully. A 5.25-inch lug pattern shared with another Dynapro does not establish that the larger pad or body will fit this restricted-clearance installation.
