Product details

The anodized Dynapro Low-Profile caliper uses four 1.12-inch stainless pistons and the smaller 4812 pad shape. Its nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width body addresses installations with limited outboard rotor-hat clearance or narrow pad sweep. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California, and its component range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-12160. Component: Forged Dynapro Lug Mount Low-Profile caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • The rotor channel is specified for 0.81-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.00 to 13.06 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.83 inch.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • 5.25-inch lug mounting pattern, universal; mounting height 2.10 inches and hole size 0.39 inch.
  • Type III anodize finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 3.6 lb.
  • Brake pad profile 4812; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
  • 4 stainless steel pistons with 1.12-inch bore diameter. The specified effective area is 1.98 sq in.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the available hat clearance and friction surface before using the 5.25-inch lug mount. The 1.98-square-inch effective piston area must also suit the complete hydraulic system.
