The black left front GP310 combines four 1.25-inch stainless pistons with the 2.72-inch fork-mount pattern. This motorcycle caliper is selected for the appropriate 2008-on Harley-Davidson front brake geometry. With a range spanning calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures complete disc braking systems and their components. Bill Wood founded the Camarillo, California-based company in 1977 for a market now covering motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

- Manufacturer part number: 120-12117-BK. Component: GP310 Motorcycle Front (2008-UP) caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Pistons: 4 stainless steel; bore specification: 1.25 inches. Effective piston area: 2.46 sq in.
- Body: billet aluminum; finish: Black powder coat.
- Rotor compatibility: nominal width 0.25 inch; diameter 9.00–11.80 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.18–0.25 inch.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Mounting: lug, 2.72-inch centers; left hand orientation. Mount height: 2.40 inches.
- Caliper weight: approximately 2.1 lb.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 3/8-24. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Compatible brake pad shape: 6208; choose the required compound for the brake system.
Fitment & Compatibility
Confirm exact model, fork and rotor compatibility rather than the Harley-Davidson name alone. Springer applications are excluded; check the nominal 0.25-inch rotor width and 3/8-24 hydraulic inlet.
