The silver left MC4 is a stand-alone cable-operated parking caliper with no hydraulic connection. Its sliding body and supplied bracket suit a dimension-matched nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width arrangement. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc braking systems. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range covers calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected as parts of a complete system.

- Manufacturer part number: 120-12070. Component: MC4 Mechanical caliper.
- Supply: one MC4 parking caliper with its mounting bracket and parking pads; the pads’ exact friction compound should be confirmed if a particular material is required.
- The rotor channel is specified for 0.81-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.00 to 14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.70–0.81 inch.
- Caliper weight: approximately 3.3 lb.
- Brake pad profile 6407; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
- Silver powder coat finish on a cast aluminum caliper body.
- 1 aluminum piston with 1.19-inch bore diameter. This piston is operated mechanically, without hydraulic pressure.
- Hydraulic connection: none; the caliper is operated by a parking-brake cable.
- Piston dust boots: included.
- 4.75-inch floating mounting pattern, left hand; hole size 0.67 inch.
Fitment & Compatibility
Confirm left-hand cable pull and sufficient room for the clockable actuator. Check the 0.310-inch barrel cable end, 4.75-inch mount centers and rotor diameter before setting the manual adjustment.
