Product details
The red FNSL4R carries four 1.12-inch stainless pistons in a forged body for a nominal 0.81-inch-wide rotor. It is the narrow-channel form of the 1.98-square-inch hydraulic configuration. Camarillo, California is home to Wilwood Engineering, the disc brake company Bill Wood founded in 1977. Its design and manufacturing range spans calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized brake systems.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-11876-RD. Component: Forged Narrow Superlite 4 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Caliper weight: approximately 5.0 lb.
- Pad fit is type 7416. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
- Bore configuration 1.12 inches across 4 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 1.98 square inches.
- Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Red powder coat.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Nominal rotor width 0.81 inch; compatible outside diameter from 11.75 through 14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.84 inch.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Bracket interface: 5.98-inch radial centers with 0.39-inch holes. Specified mount height: 1.45 inches; orientation: universal.
Fitment & Compatibility
Compare rotor width and bracket offset rather than identifying the caliper by red paint alone. Check 7416 pad contact and 5.98-inch radial centers with the assembly mounted inside the actual wheel.
Ask PMB Performance to check the complete brake arrangement before ordering. Our team brings over 20 years of experience; photographs and measured bracket and rotor dimensions make that check more useful.
