Product details
A polished forged body carries two small 1.12-inch stainless pistons on this D154 caliper. It uses a nominal 0.81-inch rotor width and the 1.98-square-inch piston area of the small-bore version. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc braking systems. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range covers calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected as parts of a complete system.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-11875-P. Component: D154 Single & Dual Piston Floater caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- polished finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
- 5.46-inch floating mounting pattern, universal; mounting height 0.37 inches and hole size 0.69 inch.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: M10 x 1.50. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- 2 stainless steel pistons with 1.12-inch bore diameter. The specified effective area is 1.98 sq in.
- Caliper weight: approximately 4.6 lb.
- Brake pad profile D154; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
- The rotor channel is specified for 0.81-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.00 to 12.19 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.70–0.81 inch.
Fitment & Compatibility
Compare the required piston area with the existing circuit. Match the rotor's lateral position, 5.46-inch slide-pin bracket and compatible banjo line; polishing does not change the mechanical fit.
