Product details
The black small-bore D154 combines two 1.12-inch stainless pistons with the nominal 1.04-inch rotor-width body. Its forged floating housing accepts D154 pads in a matching GM metric brake assembly. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and a component range of calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines serving motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-11874-BK. Component: D154 Single & Dual Piston Floater caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Mounting: floating, 5.46-inch centers; universal orientation. Mount holes: 0.69 inch; height: 0.37 inches.
- Caliper weight: approximately 4.6 lb.
- Compatible brake pad shape: D154; choose the required compound for the brake system.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: M10 x 1.50. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Rotor compatibility: nominal width 1.04 inch; diameter 11.00–12.19 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.87–1.04 inch.
- Pistons: 2 stainless steel; bore specification: 1.12 inches. Effective piston area: 1.98 sq in.
- Body: forged aluminum; finish: Black powder coat.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
Fitment & Compatibility
Use the 1.98-square-inch area when checking brake balance. Compare rotor offset, slide-pin spacing and the M10 x 1.50 inlet; matching housing appearance alone cannot identify the correct bore.
