Product details
The black D154 carries one 2.50-inch stainless piston in a forged aluminum floating body. It provides 4.90 square inches of piston area for a nominal 1.04-inch rotor width. For motorsport, street-performance and specialized braking applications, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. The disc brake company was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-11870-BK. Component: D154 Single & Dual Piston Floater caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Pad fit is type D154. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
- Nominal rotor width 1.04 inch; compatible outside diameter from 11.00 through 12.19 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.87–1.04 inch.
- Bore configuration 2.50 inches across 1 piston; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 4.90 square inches.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: M10 x 1.50. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Caliper weight: approximately 4.6 lb.
- Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Black powder coat.
- Bracket interface: 5.46-inch floating centers with 0.69-inch holes. Specified mount height: 0.37 inches; orientation: universal.
Fitment & Compatibility
Match the GM metric bracket, rotor and D154 pad geometry. Allow the caliper to slide freely as the pads wear and confirm the M10 x 1.50 hose connection before replacement.
