Wilwood D154 Single-Piston Floating Caliper, Type III / 2.50-Inch Bore / 1.04-inch Rotor Width

This anodized D154 is the single-piston GM metric floating caliper with a 2.50-inch stainless bore. Its nominal 1.04-inch rotor-width channel differs from the thinner D154 versions. Wilwood Engineering is a Camarillo, California-based designer and manufacturer of disc brake systems, founded by Bill Wood in 1977. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form its range for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

• Manufacturer part number: 120-11870. Component: D154 Single & Dual Piston Floater caliper.
• Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
• Type III anodize finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
• The rotor channel is specified for 1.04-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.00 to 12.19 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.87–1.04 inch.
• Piston dust boots: not fitted.
• Brake pad profile D154; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
• 1 stainless steel piston with 2.50-inch bore diameter. The specified effective area is 4.90 sq in.
• Caliper weight: approximately 4.6 lb.
• Hydraulic inlet thread: M10 x 1.50. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
• 5.46-inch floating mounting pattern, universal; mounting height 0.37 inches and hole size 0.69 inch.

Fitment & Compatibility

Verify the 4.90-square-inch piston area, original-style D154 pad fit and 5.46-inch slide-pin mounting. The line must use the correct M10 x 1.50 banjo or sealed adapter connection.
