Product details

The anodized Narrow Superlite 4 uses four equal 1.25-inch stainless pistons with a nominal 1.10-inch rotor-width channel. This creates the 2.46-square-inch effective area within the narrow 7416-pad body. Camarillo, California is home to Wilwood Engineering, the disc brake company Bill Wood founded in 1977. Its design and manufacturing range spans calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized brake systems.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-11783. Component: Forged Narrow Superlite 4 Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Pad fit is type 7416. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
  • Bore configuration 1.25 inches across 4 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 2.46 square inches.
  • Bracket interface: 5.98-inch radial centers with 0.39-inch holes. Specified mount height: 1.45 inches; orientation: universal.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 5.0 lb.
  • Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Type III anodize.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Nominal rotor width 1.10 inch; compatible outside diameter from 11.75 through 14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.00–1.10 inch.

Fitment & Compatibility

Compare piston area and pad sweep with the existing brake package. A correctly offset 5.98-inch radial bracket must center the rotor inside the caliper and position the friction material on its swept surface.

Ask PMB Performance to check the complete brake arrangement before ordering. Our team brings over 20 years of experience; photographs and measured bracket and rotor dimensions make that check more useful.
