The yellow FNSL4R is an individual narrow radial caliper with four 1.12-inch stainless pistons. It is configured around a nominal 1.10-inch rotor width, using the 7416 pad shape. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, is based in Camarillo, California. The company makes and designs disc brake components and systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-11782-Y. Component: Forged Narrow Superlite 4 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- The rotor channel is specified for 1.10-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.75 to 14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.00–1.10 inch.
- 5.98-inch radial mounting pattern, universal; mounting height 1.45 inches and hole size 0.39 inch.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Brake pad profile 7416; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
- Caliper weight: approximately 5.0 lb.
- 4 stainless steel pistons with 1.12-inch bore diameter. The specified effective area is 1.98 sq in.
- Yellow powder coat finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
Fitment & Compatibility
