Product details

This anodized left FNSL6R has six differential stainless pistons and a nominal 1.10-inch rotor-width channel. The narrow forged body carries 7416 pads, with 4.04 square inches of effective piston area. This component comes from Wilwood Engineering, established in 1977 by Bill Wood and based in Camarillo, California. Its disc brake design and manufacturing work includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized systems.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-11781. Component: Forged Narrow Superlite 6 Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Nominal rotor width 1.10 inch; compatible outside diameter from 11.75 through 14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.00–1.10 inch.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Bracket interface: 5.98-inch radial centers with 0.39-inch holes. Specified mount height: 1.45 inches; orientation: left hand.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 5.0 lb.
  • Bore configuration 1.62/1.12/1.12 inches across 6 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 4.04 square inches.
  • Pad fit is type 7416. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Type III anodize.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the left-side bore arrangement and required radial bracket offset. Correct 5.98-inch mounting centers alone do not guarantee that the rotor is centered or the wheel clears the housing.
