Product details
This black right Narrow Superlite 6 has six differential stainless pistons in a radial-mount forged body. It combines a nominal 1.25-inch rotor-width channel with the 7416 pad profile and 4.04-square-inch area. For motorsport, street-performance and specialized braking applications, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. The disc brake company was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-11778-BK. Component: Forged Narrow Superlite 6 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Pad fit is type 7416. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
- Bracket interface: 5.98-inch radial centers with 0.39-inch holes. Specified mount height: 1.45 inches; orientation: right hand.
- Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Black powder coat.
- Bore configuration 1.62/1.12/1.12 inches across 6 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 4.04 square inches.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Nominal rotor width 1.25 inch; compatible outside diameter from 11.75 through 14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.19–1.25 inch.
- Caliper weight: approximately 5.0 lb.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
Fitment & Compatibility
Confirm the wide rotor's offset and 5.98-inch mounting centers. Keep the right-hand bore arrangement and check the pad sweep rather than assuming every six-piston Superlite has the same geometry.
