Product details
A polished forged housing distinguishes this thin-rotor Narrow Dynalite. Four 1.12-inch stainless pistons operate across a nominal 0.38-inch-wide rotor, giving the specified 1.98-square-inch effective area. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc braking systems. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range covers calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected as parts of a complete system.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-11577-P. Component: Forged Narrow Dynalite caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- The rotor channel is specified for 0.38-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.75 to 12.72 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.25–0.38 inch.
- 4 stainless steel pistons with 1.12-inch bore diameter. The specified effective area is 1.98 sq in.
- Brake pad profile 7816; 7216; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
- Caliper weight: approximately 4.1 lb.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- polished finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
- 3.50-inch lug mounting pattern, universal; mounting height 2.85 inches and hole size 0.45 inch.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
Fitment & Compatibility
The polished surface does not change the mounting or pad dimensions. Match 3.50-inch lugs, 7816/7216 pad geometry and the thin rotor's centerline to the brake assembly.
