Product details

This red Dynapro combines external piston dust boots with a 4.80-square-inch effective area. Four equal 1.75-inch aluminum bores operate over a nominal 0.81-inch-wide rotor in a 5.25-inch lug-mount body. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-11482-RD. Component: Dynapro Dust-Boot caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Piston dust boots: included.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Pistons: 4 aluminum; bore specification: 1.75 inches. Effective piston area: 4.80 sq in.
  • Mounting: lug, 5.25-inch centers; universal orientation. Mount holes: 0.39 inch; height: 2.10 inches.
  • Body: forged aluminum; finish: Red powder coat.
  • Rotor compatibility: nominal width 0.81 inch; diameter 10.00–13.06 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.83 inch.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 3.8 lb.
  • Compatible brake pad shape: 7812; choose the required compound for the brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the intended low-to-intermediate temperature application and correct pad profile. The bracket, rotor centerline and inlet fitting must suit this version rather than a different Dynapro piston size.

With 20+ years of experience, PMB Performance can help compare the actual brake hardware. Supply the caliper number, rotor dimensions and mounting measurements when asking about compatibility.
