Product details
This left-hand Forged Superlite Internal 4 combines 1.88- and 1.75-inch stainless bores in a differential four-piston layout. The nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width body is Type III anodized. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California, and its component range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-11138. Component: Forged Superlite Internal 4 caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Caliper weight: approximately 5.2 lb.
- Brake pad profile 7420; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Type III anodize finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
- The rotor channel is specified for 0.81-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.75 to 13.06 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.84 inch.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- 3.50-inch lug mounting pattern, left hand; mounting height 2.85 inches and hole size 0.45 inch.
- 4 stainless steel pistons with 1.88/1.75-inch bore groups. The specified effective area is 5.18 sq in.
Fitment & Compatibility
The differential arrangement needs its specified left-hand orientation, unlike a symmetrical-bore universal caliper. Check 3.50-inch lug centers, 7420 pad alignment and the required 5.18-square-inch area.
