Product details

The black Forged Superlite Internal uses equal 1.62-inch bores in a four-piston body. Its nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width channel provides the narrow-width version of the 4.12-square-inch hydraulic configuration. With a range spanning calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures complete disc braking systems and their components. Bill Wood founded the Camarillo, California-based company in 1977 for a market now covering motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-11131-BK. Component: Forged Superlite Internal caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Mounting: lug, 3.50-inch centers; universal orientation. Mount holes: 0.45 inch; height: 2.85 inches.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Compatible brake pad shape: 7420; choose the required compound for the brake system.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 5.2 lb.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Rotor compatibility: nominal width 0.81 inch; diameter 11.75–13.06 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.84 inch.
  • Body: forged aluminum; finish: Black powder coat.
  • Pistons: 4 stainless steel; bore specification: 1.62 inches. Effective piston area: 4.12 sq in.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the 7420 pad contact area and rotor placement to the bracket. The black finish is shared by several FSLI bore sizes, so verify the piston specification rather than selecting by appearance.
