Product details

The Forged Superlite Internal is an individual four-piston brake caliper with equal 1.12-inch stainless bores. This Type III anodized version combines the small 1.98-square-inch effective piston area with a nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width channel. Camarillo, California is home to Wilwood Engineering, the disc brake company Bill Wood founded in 1977. Its design and manufacturing range spans calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized brake systems.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-11125. Component: Forged Superlite Internal caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Bore configuration 1.12 inches across 4 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 1.98 square inches.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Type III anodize.
  • Nominal rotor width 0.81 inch; compatible outside diameter from 11.75 through 13.06 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.84 inch.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 5.2 lb.
  • Pad fit is type 7420. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
  • Bracket interface: 3.50-inch lug centers with 0.45-inch holes. Specified mount height: 2.85 inches; orientation: universal.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the small piston area when checking the complete brake balance. A 3.50-inch lug bracket must position the 7420 pads correctly over the rotor; symmetrical bores allow either side with the bleeders properly oriented.

Ask PMB Performance to check the complete brake arrangement before ordering. Our team brings over 20 years of experience; photographs and measured bracket and rotor dimensions make that check more useful.
