Product details

Red powder coat finishes this rear-use D52 twin-piston caliper. It combines a nominal 1.28-inch rotor-width channel with two 1.25-inch stainless pistons, preserving the smaller hydraulic area needed by a matching rear brake layout. Wilwood Engineering is a Camarillo, California-based designer and manufacturer of disc brake systems, founded by Bill Wood in 1977. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form its range for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-10938-RD. Component: D52 Dual Piston Floater caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • 7.06-inch floating mounting pattern, universal; mounting height 0.77 inches and hole size 0.69 inch.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • The rotor channel is specified for 1.28-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.00 to 12.19 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.19–1.28 inch.
  • Red powder coat finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 5.5 lb.
  • 2 stainless steel pistons with 1.25-inch bore diameter. The specified effective area is 2.46 sq in.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 7/16-20. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Brake pad profile D52; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check bracket alignment and sliding travel as well as rotor width. The caliper uses a 7/16-20 banjo inlet; choose the hose and master-cylinder combination to suit the complete front-to-rear brake balance.
