Product details

The red D52 is a two-piston floating brake caliper for a matching GM-pattern mounting system. Its forged aluminum housing holds two 2.00-inch stainless pistons, giving a different hydraulic area from the small-bore rear D52 models. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, is based in Camarillo, California. The company makes and designs disc brake components and systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-10936-RD. Component: D52 Dual Piston Floater caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 7/16-20. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.

  • Red powder coat finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
  • The rotor channel is specified for 1.28-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 11.00 to 12.19 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.19–1.28 inch.
  • 2 stainless steel pistons with 2.00-inch bore diameter. The specified effective area is 6.28 sq in.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the bracket's 7.06-inch spacing and allow the caliper to slide freely as pads wear. Match the rotor and 7/16-20 banjo-ended hose to this nominal 1.28-inch-width version.

Ask PMB Performance to check the complete brake arrangement before ordering. Our team brings over 20 years of experience; photographs and measured bracket and rotor dimensions make that check more useful.
