Product details

A red powder-coated housing identifies this Narrow Dynapro four-piston brake caliper. The radial attachment, nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width channel and 4.80-square-inch piston area make it a component selected by brake dimensions rather than a vehicle name alone. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc braking systems. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range covers calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected as parts of a complete system.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-10000-RD. Component: Narrow Dynapro Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Brake pad profile 7812; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Red powder coat finish on a billet aluminum caliper body.
  • 4.75-inch radial mounting pattern, universal; mounting height 1.61 inches and hole size 0.39 inch.
  • The rotor channel is specified for 0.81-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 10.75 to 12.19 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.86 inch.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • 4 stainless steel pistons with 1.75-inch bore diameter. The specified effective area is 4.80 sq in.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 4.1 lb.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use a bracket that places the 7812 pad sweep correctly on a 10.75–12.19-inch rotor. The 4.75-inch mount centers, inlet routing and surrounding wheel must all be checked before installation.
