This version pairs the Treuhaft emblem with EMPI's black powder-coated billet-aluminum shift knob. The emblem has an enamel face and zinc-alloy construction with 3M adhesive attachment. Supplied thread provisions let the knob replace the grip on a factory VW lever or EMPI trigger shifter, keeping the existing shift mechanism in service.

Fitment & Compatibility
For VW lever threads: Beetle/Ghia 1961–1967, 7mm; Beetle 1949–1960, Bus 1950–1967, and Ghia 1959–1960, 10mm; Beetle/Bus 1968–1979, Ghia 1968–1974, Type 3 1961–1973, and Thing 1973–1974, 12mm. The 3/8-24 thread suits EMPI trigger units. On a modified car, the lever's actual thread takes precedence over body year.
