Product details
The EMPI emblem finishes this black powder-coated billet-aluminum knob. Its enamel-faced zinc-alloy badge sits at the top of the grip, attached with 3M adhesive. The knob is supplied with thread sizes for stock VW gear levers and EMPI's trigger shifters, so the existing lever can remain in place.

Fitment & Compatibility
Stock applications are Beetle/Ghia 1961–1967 at 7mm; Beetle 1949–1960, Bus 1950–1967, and Ghia 1959–1960 at 10mm; Beetle/Bus 1968–1979, Ghia 1968–1974, Type 3 1961–1973, and Thing 1973–1974 at 12mm. EMPI trigger shifters use 3/8-24. A replacement lever may have a different thread from the original vehicle specification.
