This race is the splined inner component for EMPI's stock-style 100mm Type 2 and Vanagon CV joint. It replaces the race in the 87-9917 joint, not the race used in EMPI's separate off-road joint. The ball tracks, cage and outer body must stay a compatible set during rebuilding.
