Type 1 Billet Street Linkage - Black
This linkage assembly is smooth and strong. With the stainless steel rods and throttle stops, the aircraft style adjuster makes it a very precision and reliable kit. The billet base is solidly mounted to alternator/generator stand and includes custom nuts to eliminate any hardware changes. The linkage comes complete with a sealed bell crank bearing and all hardware, including righthanded tap, to make this a complete do-it-yourself package.
This linkage is designed specifically for Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 air-cooled engines running dual Weber 48 or 51 IDA carburetors. It is compatible with the following models:
- Volkswagen Beetle: 1950 through 1979 (All Sedan and Convertible models)
- Volkswagen Karmann Ghia: 1956 through 1974
- Volkswagen Bus / Type 2: 1950 through 1971 (With Type 1 upright engine configurations)
- Volkswagen Thing / Type 181: 1973 through 1974
- Volkswagen Type 3: 1961 through 1973 (Squareback, Fastback, Notchback)
- Dune Buggies & Sand Rails: Any custom application utilizing an upright VW air-cooled engine
