Product details
The 1971 Type 1 column uses this particular turn signal switch. This replacement suits that one model year, not the later 1972–1979 version. Inspect the original connector and mounting before ordering, especially if the steering column has been changed.

Fitment & Compatibility
Compare the installed switch, wiring and cancellation features. The vehicle's model year does not guarantee fit where a different column has been fitted. Test both turn directions and cancellation after assembly.
