The black lever and switch assembly replaces the steering-column turn signal control on 1962–1967 Beetle and Karmann Ghia models. Check the mounting and existing wiring before removing the original. Replace it when the switch or lever is damaged, and inspect the column's cancellation mechanism at the same time.
