This spacer finishes the junction between an aftermarket knob and an EMPI trigger shifter. The black version fills the transition at the top of the trigger mechanism for a coordinated appearance with a black shaft or knob. It is a separate trim/fitting component, allowing the existing shifter and chosen knob to be retained.
