Product details
The PMO Throttle Plate Screw (PM-O146-0) is the small screw that fastens a throttle plate to the throttle shaft inside a PMO Induction carburetor. PMO machines its one-piece stainless steel shafts with EDM-cut slots for precise throttle plate fit and alignment. A loose screw lets the plate shift and stop sealing at idle, which throws off synchronization. A screw that backs out completely can be drawn into the engine. It is sold each.
Order these for a shaft or bearing service, or to replace screws with damaged heads. Staked or locked screws often come out with damaged threads. A pair of PMO carburetors has six throats (PMO sells its venturis six to a set), so count the screws on your carburetors and order a spare or two.

Fitment & Compatibility
For PMO Induction 40mm, 46mm, and 50mm carburetors. PMO does not publish a thread size for this screw, so on a Weber IDA compare thread and length against the screw you are replacing before ordering.
Installation & Tuning Notes
Close the throttle, let the plate center itself in the bore, and snug the screws once it seals evenly all the way around. Work the throttle through full travel to check for binding, then secure the screws the way the originals were secured (thread locker or staked tips).
Common Questions
Can I reuse the old screws?
Only if the threads and heads are undamaged and they were not staked. New screws are the safer choice on parts that sit directly above the intake ports.
Do I need to resync after replacing screws?
Yes. Any time a plate is loosened and re-centered, synchronize the carburetors again.
