This is our go-to trim set. If you're not concerned about Concourse D'elegance and later model sills, install these early aluminum trim sets in "all" years (we do). These early sill plates and carpet strips are made from anodized aluminum and exactly like the factory units.
Let's back up a little, when production first began sill plates were made from anodized aluminum, but midway through the 1973 model year they were superseded by more cost effective black plastic parts. Again, if you want original on the later cars, we have those, they're actually better because they are black anodized aluminum... we just like the looks of these clear anodized set on all cars that don't have an original requirement.
