The SK Synchrometer measures intake airflow so multiple carburetor barrels or individual throttles can be balanced. It reads at the inlet while the engine runs, so airflow can be compared at idle and at synchronization speed. It measures airflow, so it complements mixture adjustment rather than measuring air-fuel ratio.
