Molded from EPDM rubber, it shrugs off 250°F heat and resists ozone cracking—stock hoses split after 18 months; we’ve run these past 3 years in our test 914 without a hiccup. It’s a dead-on fit for the 1.7L’s vacuum circuit—one per car—clamping tight to the AAR and manifold (use 12-14 Nm torque for a leak-free seal).
