The EMPI 17-2730-0 is a billet aluminum shaped bracket that clamps around 1 1/2 inch tubing and carries a single post tapped 3/8-16, giving a mounting point for a mirror, light, or similar accessory. It is a two-piece split clamp, so it bolts around a cage or bar tube without welding and can be moved or re-aimed later. The accessory threads into the 3/8-16 hole at the end of the post. It is sold individually.
EMPI makes this bracket in three versions, chosen by tube size and thread. The 17-2730 covers 1 1/2 inch tube with 3/8-16 threads. The 17-2882 is the same 1 1/2 inch bracket tapped 8mm x 1.25 for metric accessories, and the 17-2731 is the 1 3/4 inch version with 3/8-16 threads. Check the thread on your mirror or light stud first, since 3/8-16 and 8mm x 1.25 are close in size but do not interchange. For bullet-style headlights on 1 1/2 inch tube, EMPI's 17-2742 light mount brackets come as a right and left pair.

Fitment & Compatibility
Universal fit for 1 1/2 inch outside diameter tubing on sand rails, buggies, Baja Bugs, and other off-road cars. For 1 3/4 inch tube use 17-2731, and for 8mm x 1.25 threads use 17-2882.
