This rubber mount supports the Porsche 914 gearbox at its mounting point while isolating the body from direct metal-to-metal drivetrain vibration. It is a replacement for a deteriorated mount whose rubber has cracked, separated, or allowed excess movement. Inspect the mating brackets and other drivetrain supports while the gearbox is supported for the repair.
