Tarett Engineering sway bars are designed to deliver precise handling adjustment without adding unnecessary weight. The hollow bar design provides the same stiffness as a comparable solid bar at roughly half the weight, using aircraft-quality 4130 chromoly steel that is heat treated for strength and durability. The bearing blocks, drop links, and sway bar arms are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, giving the system an excellent balance of strength, accuracy, and low weight.
The fully adjustable drop links allow suspension preload to be removed, helping the bar work properly through the full range of suspension travel. Teflon-lined rod ends are correctly sized for smooth, quiet operation and long service life, avoiding the looseness, rattling, and premature wear often seen with lower-quality hardware. Reinforced thermoplastic bushings with Teflon and Kevlar further improve durability while resisting deflection under heavy cornering loads.
The adjustable drop-link arm connection makes it easy to fine-tune sway bar stiffness for different driving styles, setups, and track conditions. With optimized geometry for bind-free movement, excellent ground clearance, and all required zinc-plated metric hardware included, this system is built as a complete, high-quality solution for drivers looking to improve balance, response, and confidence.
