Porsche 944 S2/928 Oil Cooler Adapter

Improved Racing's oil cooler adapter provides a critical solution for Porsche 944 S2 and late-model 928 owners. Because original factory oil lines are discontinued, this adapter is often the only available option to replace aging infrastructure, convert the factory setup to modern AN lines, or integrate an aftermarket oil cooler.

Porsche 944 S2 Fitment

The 944 S2 utilizes these twin ports on both the engine block and the oil cooler. While the adapter fits the factory oil cooler perfectly and will physically bolt to the block, the factory timing cover restricts clearance for the fittings. Because of this layout, modifications are strictly required to make this adapter work on the engine block side of the 944 S2 engine.

Porsche 928 Fitment (1990–1995)

For late-model 928 applications, these twin ports are generally used on the engine block side only. While a few rare 928 variants may feature an oil cooler with twin ports, the vast majority of 928 models utilize independent ports located on opposite ends of the factory cooler.

Port & Line Specifications

The adapter is engineered with -10AN O-ring boss (ORB) ports. Fitting options are available to cleanly adapt the block to either -10AN or -12AN plumbing lines, depending on your specific routing needs.
