Fabspeed Sport Headers replace the factory manifolds on the Porsche 997 GT2 with mandrel-bent stainless primaries and 3-into-1 merge collectors. The investment-cast collector geometry is intended to manage the exhaust pulses feeding the turbochargers. Fabspeed Motorsport develops exhaust systems, air intakes and ECU tuning for Porsche and other sports and exotic cars in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Its development includes dyno, road and racetrack evaluation. Match the product to the engine, factory equipment and installed exhaust, intake or calibration.
Technical Details
- Fabspeed part number: FS.POR.997GT2.SHDR.
- 14–16 gauge T304L stainless steel tubing.
- High-velocity, 3-into-1 pyramidal investment-cast merge collectors.
- Direct bolt-on header installation; no cutting or welding required.
- After the first heat cycle, retighten exhaust fasteners to the applicable Porsche torque specifications.
