The Porsche 993 Turbo ECU upgrade must be selected by the installed control-unit type. Early EPROM, drive-block OTP and later flashable ECUs require different programming arrangements, so the Porsche sticker reference is more useful than model year alone. Based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, Fabspeed Motorsport engineers exhaust, intake and ECU upgrades for sports cars and exotics, including Porsche. Dyno testing and road and track evaluation inform its development. Compatibility still depends on the engine, factory options and existing hardware or calibration.

- Fabspeed catalog family: FS.POR.993T.ECUXXX. Select the required configuration using the product options.
- 1995 Euro EPROM configuration is offered as a separate option.
- Select OTP Flash for Porsche ECU references 993.618.666.00, 993.618.666.01 or 993.618.666.02.
- Select ECU Software for references 993.618.666.10, 993.618.666.11 or 993.618.666.12.
- The selector's 1996–1997.5 and 1997–1998 labels overlap; inspect the ECU sticker before choosing.
- Complete the ECU information form and confirm shipping/programming instructions before dispatching the unit.
