PMO Stainless M8 x 1.25 Manifold Stud, 1-1/2 Inch, for PMO and Weber Carburetors

The PMO PM-O901-1 is a 1-1/2 inch stainless steel manifold stud with M8 x 1.25 threads, used to replace a damaged or missing stud on PMO and Weber carburetor and intake manifold installations. M8 x 1.25 is the standard 8mm metric coarse thread. PMO intake manifold sets ship with their studs, so this single stud is the fix when one has stripped, rusted in place, or snapped during a carb or manifold removal. Stainless resists the corrosion that leaves plain steel studs seized in the engine bay.

The same M8 x 1.25 thread runs through PMO's other carb hardware. The matching PMO hex nut (PM-O901-4) takes a 13mm wrench, and PMO also lists an M8 x 1.25 jam nut (PM-O901-5). When every stud on the intake needs replacing, PMO offers a 12-piece intake stud kit (PM-O935-0). Before ordering, pull a good stud from the same position and confirm the length and thread.

Installation & Tuning Notes

Stainless threads running into aluminum can gall, so put a light coat of anti-seize on the threads before installing. Two M8 nuts locked against each other give you something to turn the stud with, and they come off without marking the threads.
