PMB-C Ceramic Front Pads for Porsche 968 Sport (92-95)

Stop Like a Modern Porsche

You didn’t buy a classic Porsche to feel like you’re driving a tractor. You bought it for the balance, the feedback, and the legendary transaxle handling. But if your brakes feel wooden, or your wheels are constantly caked in corrosive black dust, you aren't getting the full experience.

At PMB Performance, we’ve spent the last 20 years obsessed with making vintage Porsche braking systems work better than they did the day they left Stuttgart. Our PMB-C Ceramic line brings the bite and reliability of a modern Porsche to your classic.

The G/G Standard: Friction Without Fade

Most pads you’ll find at a big-box store are rated "EE" or "FF." We didn't settle for that. Our ceramic pads carry a G/G rating—the highest friction grade available for a street-legal pad, as defined by the Friction Materials Standards Institute (FMSI).

A "G" grade signifies a high friction coefficient between 0.45 and 0.55. By maintaining a G/G rating, these pads provide a massive, immediate bite the moment you touch the pedal—even when they are stone cold (The first “G” rating)—and they maintain that exact same stopping power when your brakes are working hard in a mountain pass (The second “G” rating). You get a predictable, firm pedal that won't go "soft" or "wooden" when temperatures climb.

Engineered for Your Porsche Brake Rotor

Generic pads are often a massive compromise; they are either too hard—effectively "machining" your brake rotor—or too soft, fading the moment you get aggressive.

The PMB-C formulation is designed specifically for the metallurgy of the Porsche brake rotor. These pads create a microscopic transfer layer on the rotor surface, ensuring a consistent bite that doesn't rely on abrasive friction alone. This protects your rotors while delivering high-performance stopping.

Why Choose PMB Performance Ceramic?

  • Zero Squeal: Our pads are shimmed and chamfered to eliminate the high-pitched harmonic ring common in classic Porsche calipers.

  • Keep Your Wheels Clean: The light-colored ceramic dust doesn't stick to your phone-dials or Fuchs like traditional semi-metallic pads do.

  • 20 Years of Heritage: We don't just sell parts; we restore the world’s finest calipers. We know exactly what makes a classic Porsche stop.

  • The highest friction grade available for a street-legal pad.
