When you pull the stock plugs, the oil passages can be cleaned and inspected before the engine goes together. This kit supplies threaded aluminum plugs to close them again: seven 1/8-inch NPT, two 1/4-inch NPT, and three 3/8-inch NPT.
The case has to be machined to accept them.
