EMPI 43-5308-0 is a 1.45 main jet for PMO carburetors and for EMPI HPMX and EPC 48/51 and Weber IDF, 48 IDA, and DCO/DCOE carburetors, and 145 is the main PMO uses in both of its kits for 2.8 to 3.0 liter Porsche 911 engines. The 40mm street kit (PM-O803-0) runs 145 mains with 190 air correctors. The 46mm performance kit (PM-O804-0) runs 145 mains with 185 air correctors. Both use 36mm chokes, F11t emulsion tubes, and 55 idle jets.
Because the main is the same in both kits, the difference in top-end fueling comes from the air corrector. The 1.45 is also the richest jet in PMO's 40mm jet set (PM-O850-0). PMO carbs accept standard IDF jets, so this EMPI part threads straight in. The 1.40 is one step leaner and the 1.50 one step richer.

Installation & Tuning Notes
Mixed sizes across throats make the cylinders fuel unevenly. Replace a full set if the old jets have been drilled, damaged, or swapped around.

Is 1.45 the stock main jet for my PMO kit?
It is for PMO's 40mm street and 46mm performance kits for 2.8 to 3.0 liter engines. Other PMO kits use different sizes.
Which way should I go if 1.45 isn't right?
Go to the 1.50 if it runs lean under load, or the 1.40 if it runs rich.
